Our honest answer: we recommend pausing Swiss Biolabs during pregnancy and while breastfeeding — not because there's known risk, but because the studies don't exist to say definitively.
Why we say this
Peptides like GHK-Cu haven't been formally studied in pregnant or lactating people (few ingredients have, for ethical reasons). Standard guidance for any active-ingredient topical during pregnancy is: when in doubt, pause.
What to do
If you're actively pregnant or nursing:
- Pause your GLOW sessions.
- Pause the Roll-On Serum.
- Root Activator Shampoo and Conditioner are generally fine — they're wash-off products and the peptide exposure is minimal. But if you'd rather pause those too, we understand.
After pregnancy or nursing
You can restart any time once you're no longer pregnant or nursing. Postpartum shedding is extremely common, and many customers resume the full routine 3–6 months after birth to support regrowth.
Talk to your doctor
We're a brand, not medical advice. If you have specific concerns, your OB/GYN or dermatologist knows your case better than anyone — ask them.
